Kabir Khan – once a prominent documentary filmmaker made his directorial debut under the YRF banner with KABUL EXPRESS (2006) for which he was also honoured with the National Award. The screenplay of the film was also written by him. He also directed NEW YORK (2009) and the blockbuster action adventure EK THA TIGER (2012), for which he co-wrote the screenplay and dialogues with Neelesh Misra. His films garnered both critical acclaim and commercial success.
