Musical tribute to father & son bond ‘Love You Papa’ launches in Soundtrack of Sex Chat with Pappu & Papa
Often awareness is best created not by lectures, but through storytelling and music. So after 4 hugely entertaining and educational episodes of ‘Sex Chat with Pappu & Papa’, Y-Films launches a beautiful musical tribute to the bond that fathers & sons share. There have been loads and loads of songs about mothers in Bollywood, but never really a big one for Papas. And making his debut as a singer with this track is 11 year old rockstar, Shubh Mukherji, Shaan’s son. The song has been written by Shaan himself as he says in his ever smiling way, “as a tribute to myself, haha!” and composed by Superbia comprising him, Gourov Dasgupta and Roshin Balu. The video showcases some lovely moments that boys spend with their dads – be it rough housing, throwing a ball around, or just bonding.
Adds Shaan, “When Ashish shared the idea of having an 'ode to papa' song in 'Pappu & Papa, we (Gourov, Roshin and I A.K.A. SUPERBIA) jumped at the idea. But we were short on time, so I literally wrote the lyrics while we were composing the song. Getting Shubh (my younger son) to sing was pretty convenient. We (Superbia) were ourselves surprised how beautifully and naturally everything fell in place, as if the song was meant to happen. I drew from the thought that like me, most sons want to be like their Papa. And as a Papa, I'm very, very proud of both my boys and I can't stop gushing about how soulfully well my Shubh has sung this song”.
The video breaks today on YouTube.com/Y-Films and is part of the series that hopes to demystify sex. It adds to the theme of why your own parents need to be the first stop to answer all questions, clear your doubts rather than the Internet. And how Papas do that for their Pappus.

Also starring Anand Tiwari, Kabir Sajid and veteran Sachin Pilgaonkar, the series marks the directorial debut of Ashish Patil, Head of Y-Films and has been written by Gopal Datt & Devang Kakkad with story development by Amritpal Bindra & Anand Tiwari. The story revolves around the Watsa family, featuring a curious 7-year-old boy, Pappu – who shoots the most outrageous questions to his Papa, Anand. Who attempts to answer them to the best of his ability – initially with a lot of awkwardness and eventually with a lot of fun, simple anecdotes. All this while his own father – the very traditional, conservative and possibly 'khadoos' Pitaji – keeps questioning his actions. The series has also been doing some smart cross-promoting with characters from all other Y-Films shows doing cameos – and this episode sees Man’s World lead Kiran played by Gaurav Pandey in a fun special appearance too.
This is the first time that a series is launching in 15 languages. It’s set to be dubbed in 6 Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali and also subtitled in 10 International languages includingEnglish, Chinese, French, Dutch, Spanish, German, Bahasa, Malay and Thai to begin with to get this important message out to as many people as possible.
The series is presented by Durex Feel Thin. India’s Thinnest Condom. In association with Ching’s Desi Chinese. The content has been heavily researched and ratified by some of the foremost medical experts, top hormonal, gynecological doctors of the country. We hope it creates some genuine social impact, not just locally but globally.
