LAAPATA is a favorite of Sohail Sen and is sung in the beautiful lilting voices of KK and Palak Muchhala. The first thing that you think of when you hear this song is the strong influence of Latin American music, where many of Laapata's tunes and sounds originate. The song section which includes Cuban musical instruments like congas, bongos, timbale, bass guitars, horn section and acoustic guitars, along with the entire chorus section, has been recorded in Cuba, giving this song the authenticity it needs. The fine melodies of the local music, transports you to a paradise like Havana where the song has been shot in the most breathtaking locales which are sure to put you in a romantic mood.
Directed by Kabir Khan and Produced by Aditya Chopra, the romantic-thriller stars Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif in the lead roles and is scheduled for an August 15th 2012 release in cinemas worldwide.
