DULHAN HUM LE JAYENGE is the story of Sapna. Brought up by three doting but eccentric uncles, Uncle No.1 (Paresh Rawal) a shloka-chanting pooja-pathwala, Uncle No. 2 (Om Puri) a fitness freak and Uncle No. 3 (Anupam Kher) a colourful dandy who loves to dance.

Sapna who loves her uncles as dearly as they her, tries to keep all of them happy by frantically running from exercise classes to dancing lessons to bhajan singing. And each uncle is determined to marry off Sapna to a man of his choice. Poor Sapna, exhausted and pulled in three different directions, runs away and goes abroad with a tourist It's hate at first sight but after Raja saves her from several sticky situations, Sapna realises that she loves Raja and vice versa. Raja decides to meet her uncles to ask for Sapna's hand in marriage, little knowing what he's up against - three eccentric men, three determined doting uncles.

But Raja made of sterner stuff, takes up the challenge to win over all three men - and thus begins a hilarious roller coaster ride of masti and mayhem.
