Prithwish Ganguly is responsible for planning and executing disruptive communication strategies across YRF’s multiple business touch-points like Films, Talent, Aditya Chopra’s Broadway Musical - Come Fall In Love, YRF Entertainment and the Yash Chopra Foundation.
Prithwish began his career as a radio producer in 2004 and in his robust 20 years of experience in the Indian media and entertainment industry, he has gone on to explore journalism - print and television - while working in reputed media organisations such as Reuters, DNA and Times of India. Post this, he proved his mettle in the Hindi film marketing space with companies like UTV, Disney and Fox Star Studios and delivered stand-out award-winning communication campaigns. He also spearheaded the social media transformation at these reputed film studios through cutting-edge digital innovations in film marketing.
Prithwish started as General Manager - Communications in YRF in 2017 and rose within the ranks to be appointed as Vice President - Communications Strategy to advance business objectives and further partner initiatives across all YRF verticals. Under his stint, YRF started the in-house social media management division for its Talent/Artists business. His blend of working within public and privately-held companies, combined with an invaluable 360-degree work experience across all mass media touch points in India, uniquely positions him to drive communication strategies that are relevant, highly engaging and tied to the business objectives of YRF.
Prithwish is a Post Graduate in Mass Communications from the prestigious Indian Institute of Mass Communications (IIMC), New Delhi.
