The YRF Home Entertainment and YRF Music physical products labels were launched in 2004 with VEER-ZAARA. The titles launched were the most popular and sought-after products not only for their content but also for their top-of-the-line packaging and quality in all physical formats like Audio CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray Discs and VCDs.

The hallmark of DVDs and Blu-ray Discs released by YRF Home Entertainment were the additional material – some freshly shot, some from archives, which gave a rare insight into the making of each film and the people behind it.

Many of YRF films have been in top charts of music and home entertainment for months at a stretch when released. YRF’s evergreen classics such as DAAG, KABHI KABHIE, SILSILA, LAMHE, CHANDNI, DDLJ, DIL TO PAGAL HAI, MOHABBATEIN and others continued to top the charts in catalogue sales.

YRF Home Entertainment also launched some unique DVD & Blu-ray Discs Set Boxes (Collector’s Edition) in top-of-the-line packaging like Steel Book and BRD Set Box Cases such as The Legend – Yash Chopra, The Legacy – Yash & Aditya Chopra, The King Khan – Shah Rukh Khan, Aditya Chopra – Collection and DHOOM – Trilogy etc. It also released song compilations on DVDs & Blu-ray Discs formats covering a range of genres across new films as well as the evergreen classics. The division also selectively acquires films from outside banners and releases them on Home Video formats.
