Rohan Malhotra, a well-respected distribution executive, who serves as Vice President - Distribution, runs the theatrical distribution business of YRF, throughout the territories of India, Nepal and Bhutan.

Rohan started off his career in May 2006 by serving as a summer intern in the regional Mumbai distribution office of YRF. Impressed with his performance, he was appointed on a full-time basis as Head of Operations - Mumbai Distribution in April 2007. In addition to his current role, he was appointed as General Manager - Distribution in August 2011, so he could start assisting on an all India basis. Throughout his 10-year career at YRF, Rohan has been continually promoted, rising through the ranks from Head of Operations - Mumbai Distribution to his current role as Vice President - Distribution.

In his current role, he works closely with the studio’s network of domestic offices and affiliates, to strategically date movie releases for the global marketplace. He also oversees all matters relating to domestic movie distribution and release functions, competitive positioning, tracking of box-office grosses and movie rentals, exhibitor trade relations, tracking content performances and market data & trends, as well as domestic on-ground anti-piracy efforts for YRF.
